Meet-Up again

**** UPDATED 21:42 – 21 August ****

Since TripHub is closing tomorrow, I’ve established a YahooGroup for Meet-Up attendees (and prospective attendees). Please send a blank email to expatbloggers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com if you might be (or are definitely) going. To avoid spammers (of which there are many on YahooGroups), members do require approval. However, that’s just a safeguard to protect attendees from spam and everyone who is just even considering attending will be approved. YahooGroups has been around for years and I hope that we’ll be able to use this YahooGroup each year to make the planning of the Meet-Up easier.

The official planning post is the above mentioned link. The planning website I had hoped to use is shutting down for good in 10 days, so planning is back to the ‘old fashioned’ way – email. If you have already posted your interest on the other website, you don’t need to do it again – I have it and your email addresses.

Wanted to let you know about http://travelmob.com

We launched the site last week, and it has most of th same features as TripHub (creating a trip homepage, invites, trip planning). But we’ve added some new things as well such as a Facebook-style newsfeed to keep you updated on whats happening. Also, you can search and book air, hotel, car, and tours.

I’d love for you guys to check out the site!

This is MSIE 6 on Windows XP, and sadly…it looks the same on Safari 3.0 on Windows XP.
