Germany Doesn't Suck

I imagine it sucks more that the shops are closed today (in addition to the usual Sunday closures). That ‘Friday before the public holiday weekend’ shopping mayhem is something I definitely don’t miss.

Why didn’t they figure out a way to reunify the country sometime between June and late August, when you at least have a better than even chance for some decent weather? Giving everyone the Monday off would be just too radical a concept, too, I guess.

Yeah, it sucks… but evidently we in Frankfurt had better weather than in Ian did in Hamburg. Actually, for October 3, it was gorgeous here.

h, it’s not so bad this time because it’s Shopping Sunday.
