there were big celebrations in Germany last weekend because of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall today. However, I’m too far west for most people to care about that anniversary.
So, for those who live closer to the former border (or in the former East Germany), were there events in your town? Also, did any of the Berliners attend the event at the Gate?

Yes, there were lots of things happenning, none of which I attended (Thing1 was sick). There are lots more today, but I will be with the kids at Ballet, followed by perhaps watching them on TV if the children will allow me to.

It is all over the news here in France. I wish I could have seen the hoopla first hand. I remember when it came down…makes me feel old.
