9 My Favorite TV shows

My Favorite TV shows

There are some TV shows that I like to watch whenever they're on. They are listed in no particular order. Some make me laugh and some make me think. Some do both, and others help expand my mind. Also, there are even some dopey ones that don't make me do either...Every now and then I need that. If the titles are in blue, that means that the show has a home page and you will be taken there. You can use your browser's back button to return. If it is black, they don't have a homepage (that I know of).

Update 17 October 2002
This page was started in 1997. All of my favourite shows from then, except The View and Friends, are off the air, including Regis and Kathie Lee (it’s now known as Regis and Kelly, because he has a new cohost. I currently don’t have TV, but here were my favourite shows as of June 2002, the last time I did.

Boston Public – A great drama about public schools in Boston. This could possibly be my favourite show of all time. The first episode I saw was #3. In it, the principal and faculty are brought before the school board, and the audience is full of parents. After the board and parents slag the staff, Marla gets up and makes a great speech. Click here to hear it.
Jack & Jill - a great comedy/drama about life.
Kate Brasher – A great drama about a single mom raising two teenagers in Los Angeles. However, from what I’ve found on the internet, this show didn’t make it. It only aired from Feb 2001 to Apr 2001. Perhaps it was too much like real life.

Here was my original list from 1997

Regis and Kathie Lee - they help me start my morning off right.
The X-Files - this is too cool.
Nash Bridges - a crime/drama (filmed in San Francisco) with humor.
Party of Five - a great drama.
Melrose Place - I know it's sleazy, but I love it.
The View - another great talk show.
Friends - Talk about funny!!!!!!
The Big Easy (USA Network) - also a crime/drama (filmed in New Orleans) with humor
The Real World - an MTV show that puts 7 strangers a house and films their lives living together for 6 months
Road Rules - an MTV show that sets 5 or 6 people up to travel together. They are sent on adventures and their time together is filmed.
