My Favorite Cities

I started making this list for a bulletin board I post on as a response to a topic that was posed asking everyone to list their 5 favorite cities and 5 least liked cities. As I decided what places I liked and didn’t, I also realized that there are places I can tolerate, and the list kept growing. It turned out to be too long to post on there, so I decided just to post it on here. They are listed in no particular order. This list is as of 12 March, 2000. When I find new cities I like can tolerate or don't like, I will add them to the top of the proper category along with the date added.

  4. Brno, Czech Republic
  5. Phoenix, Arizona, USA (but it would top the list of likes if I was talking about (Mexican) food)
  6. Olsztyn, Poland
  7. Reno, Nevada, USA
  8. Valencia, Spain
  9. Tucson, Arizona USA
  10. Belgrade, Serbia (just barely…it made it on this list because the people are fantastic)
  11. Sacramento, California, USA (I can almost say I like it)
Cities I hate, despise, don’t like, etc.:
  1. Lisbon, Portugal (I hate anyplace in which I am threatened with a gun)
  2. Kansas City, Missouri USA (it, as well as the state of Missouri (except St. Louis), should be bombed off the map)
  3. Gandia, Spain (but I LOVE the beach areas south of it)
  4. Fresno, California USA (anyone who has been there knows)
  5. Tijuana, Mexico (not really Mexico..more like a slum of San Diego)
  6. Varna, Bulgaria (ugly city with nothing to do, but the beaches north of it are nice)
